It’s the key to creating distinct characters, rich relationships, and scenes that truly go somewhere. Yet, we’ve all been in those moments where everything feels flat—you're playing a vague character in an undefined space, and the scene lacks direction or purpose. In this two-day workshop, we’ll dive deep into making specific choices that add clarity, depth, and emotional stakes to every scene. You’ll learn how verbal and physical details can define your characters, shape their relationships, and create vivid worlds to explore. What you'll do: Use specifics at the very start of a scene to ignite the action.Use details to infuse our choices with meaning and purpose.Notice and build on your scene partner’s choices to create a cohesive world.Perform a ton of scenes to practice and refine these skills!While this workshop focuses on short scene work, the techniques you’ll learn can be applied to all styles of improv. ————— We have community standards, a conflict process, and a COVID prevention policy in place. Agreement/acceptance of these policies is required to participate in BATS classes. This is a relatively large park near the Golden Gate Bridge, called Golden Gate Park. Most tourists will not go to this attraction specifically, but since we are traveling independently, we can visit it in a more relaxed manner. The environment design of this park is unparalleled and it is worth checking out.

Lombard Street

This attraction is unique, beautiful and interesting, and is definitely one of the must-see attractions when visiting San Francisco.

Lombard Street is actually a section of Lombard Street, located between Hyde Street and Leavenworth Street. This section of the road is a steep slope, but it is designed into eight hairpin turns, and flowers are planted on both sides of the road.

If you need to take a nine-turn effect, you must stand on Leavenworth Street, which is low in terrain.

Chinese people can drive in the western United States where San Francisco is located with a translated driver&#39;s license. If you can drive in San Francisco, you might as well go and experience the feeling of driving through Lombard Street yourself.
