Taking a Danube River boat tour in Budapest was one of the highlights of our trip! Seeing the city from the water, especially in the evening, was breathtaking. The gentle cruise along the river provided stunning views of Budapest&rsquo;s landmarks, including the Parliament Building, Buda Castle, Chain Bridge, and Gell&eacute;rt Hill, all beautifully illuminated at night.We chose a sightseeing cruise that lasted about 1 hour, and it was the perfect way to enjoy the beauty of night lights.

Fisherman&rsquo;s Bastion is a stunning landmark with breathtaking views of Budapest. Located in the Buda Castle District, this Neo-Romanesque structure offers sweeping panoramas of the Danube, Parliament Building, and Pest side of the city. The seven turrets symbolize the seven Magyar tribes, and the intricate design feels like something straight out of a fairy tale.The best part is the outdoor terraces, which are perfect for photos, especially at sunrise or sunset. It&rsquo;s a peaceful spot, ideal for enjoying the view and soaking in the history. Nearby, you&rsquo;ll find the Matthias Church, another must-see.Fisherman&rsquo;s Bastion is a must-visit for its charming architecture and breathtaking vistas, making it a memorable stop on any Budapest itinerary.

Széchenyi Thermal Bath

During our trip to Budapest, my mum and I visited Sz&eacute;chenyi Thermal Bath, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Nestled in City Park (V&aacute;rosliget), this historic spa is one of the largest and most famous thermal baths in Europe, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation.From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the stunning Neo-Baroque architecture. The grand yellow buildings, elegant domes, and intricate details give Sz&eacute;chenyi a royal feel. Inside, there&rsquo;s a maze of indoor pools, saunas, and steam rooms, but the highlight is definitely the massive outdoor pools. Even in winter, the contrast between the warm thermal waters and the crisp air makes for a magical experience.The mineral-rich thermal water felt incredibly soothing, and we could instantly feel its healing properties. The water temperature varies, with pools ranging from 26&deg;C to 40&deg;C (79&deg;F to 104&deg;F). We loved floating in the warm waters, especially in the outdoor pool with bubbling jets.
