Divided into three parts, each exploring a different theme, IMPULSE offers visitors a profound insight into the complexities of human behavior and the orientation of the self in our contemporary world.

The exhibition commences with an exploration of the virtual age, shedding light on how the real world intertwines with virtual and physical aspects. Visitors will be prompted to reflect on the manipulation of emotions by social media. Following this, the second theme examines consumption as a societal development and the web of manipulation associated with it – encompassing environmental damage, corporate and individual greed, and more.

The final theme delves into contemporary narcissism, which is propelled by social media, massification, and our infatuation with appearances and material possessions. By showcasing the works of artists from diverse backgrounds and cultures, IMPULSE provides a nuanced understanding of these profound issues.

I believe every visitor will feel mixed here. The entire museum is classified according to different civilizations on all continents, because the history of the collection is known to everyone, so the exhibition is very simple and rude, that is, put a civilized thing in a place, there is no good narrative, it is completely a &quot;trophy&quot; display. There are a lot of collections here, if you want to look good, it takes a day or two. The museum is right next to Central Park, and two places can also be arranged to visit in a day, half a day in the park, half a day in the museum.

Super easy to navigate from metro to ferry through the park. Helpful and friendly staff when you wanted them, not in your face like other tourist attractions which was such a respite. The island was very calm, good cafe, gift shop and views for days. My one criticism would be the painfully juvenile audio tour recoding (brother and sister). I had to stop listening as it was far too cringey!

There were many tourists on the first day of the new year, but there were not many people in China, and the waiting time was reasonable. . .
The wind on the roof was too strong. The 80th floor was indoors, and there was reflection when taking pictures. You can go up to the 86th floor to take pictures outdoors, and you can overlook the whole New York.

Very crowded and packed with tourists. Many people are willing to take photos here. Quite closed with the Radio City and Saks Avenue.A must place to go in New York.
