Join the six-week course, Improv 2: Authentic Relationships, at the STUDIO A, Leela Training Center in San Francisco, CA. This course is designed for adults (18+) who have completed the prerequisite course, Improv 1: Let's Play! Taught by instructor Sidonie Starr, this course will focus on the foundation of great improvisation - the two-person scene. Through acting exercises that explore wants/objectives, specificity, and emotional receptivity, participants will learn to tap into moment-to-moment play with their scene partner and develop hyper multi-sensory awareness. The course will take place on Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, starting on October 26, 2023, and running until December 7, 2023 (no class on November 23 due to Thanksgiving). The venue, STUDIO A, is conveniently located at 901 Mission Street in San Francisco, just one block away from the Powell MUNI/BART station. Participants are requested to meet inside the lobby of the SF Chronicle Building at the 901 Mission entrance by 6:55 PM, where a Leela representative will greet and direct them to the classroom.
