The Hornets Hoops Summer Camp: Covenant Presbyterian Church (July 22-25) offers an exciting opportunity for young basketball enthusiasts in Charlotte. This 4-day camp, which runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., is open to boys and girls aged 7-14. Participants will have the chance to improve their skills through a range of activities, including Skills Stations, Breakdown Drills, and Instructional Lectures. The camp will focus on various aspects of the game, such as shooting mechanics and footwork, ball handling, defense, rebounding, and mental approach. In addition to skill development, the camp also includes competitive games like 5-on-5, 3-on-3, and 1-on-1 matchups, as well as an Advantage Tournament, Shooting Contests, and a Skills Challenge. Individual and team awards will be given out to recognize outstanding performances. The Hornets Hoops Summer Camp is led by a team of qualified coaches who are either current or former college players or coaches at the high school level or higher.
