Our next Run and Recover event with Sarah Allan and Stephen Fraser is happening at Mugdock Country Park, only a 30 minute drive from Glasgow. This session we'll be mixing it up. Sarah will be taking the lead on a full body workout and run, and we'll be finishing off with some yoga, breathwork, coffee and snacks, plus an optional cold water dip for the brave. With all of our events, we aim to ensure that fitness and running is done alongside recovery. Recovery is such a key element for not only feeling better, but also performing better, helping you take your training to the next level. Schedule as follows: 9:00am We will be meeting at Mugdock Country Park Visitor Centre 9:30am Sarah Allan will take the group to the spot where she will lead a team workout which will involve running and various bodyweight exercises with options to modify where appropriate 10:00am Water break 10:15am Yoga and breathwork with Maureen. Maureen has 20 years of experience in ashtanga, hatha, vinyasa, yin, yoga nidra and yoga therapy. Her thorough knowledge will guide you through a strong and warming practice to get optimum recovery from your workout. 10:45am Coffee, snacks and optional cold water swim 11:15am Depart from Mugdock We hope to see you there! *please remember a change of clothes, water, a towel and swimwear plus any medication you may need

We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.

We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.

It is a dream castle. When I arrived, it was the April holiday, there were almost no people on the road, only the old buildings stood in the cold air, solemn and heavy, which was awe-inspiring.

George Square

George Square is located in Glasgow city center and is very conveniently accessible by train or subway. On nice days, you can sunbathe and watch pigeons in the square. It is close to the famous shopping street, where you can buy souvenirs, clothes, shoes and socks. There are also many restaurants and eateries to choose from. 
George Square is a must-see attraction. In addition to admiring the architecture of the square;during different festivals, such as Christmas, the square is built into a Christmas Market, becoming a dynamic and happy atmosphere.
