Yn adnabyddus am eu sioeau byw arloesol a bywiog, mae HMS Morris yn bwerdy celf-roc dwyieithog o Gaerdydd. Roedd 2024 yn flwyddyn nodedig i'r band. Fe wnaethant berfformio pedair sioe yn SXSW yn Texas, cyflwyno perfformiad rhagorol yng Ngŵyl y Dyn Gwyrdd – a gafodd ei ganmol fel un o eiliadau mwyaf cofiadwy yr ŵyl – ac ennill eu trydydd enwebiad am Wobr Gerddoriaeth Cymru, gyda pherfformiad byw yn y seremoni.

Yn dod â dimensiwn hollol newydd i'r noson mae Pictish Trail sydd wedi rhychu ei lwybr ei hun yn benderfynol, gan greu catalog unigryw o recordiadau a pherfformiadau'n gyson, tra'n osgoi glasbrint y canwr-gyfansoddwr rhagweladwy o blaid rhywbeth annifyr o ddiddordeb. Mae Pictish Trail wedi teithio'r byd fel prif berfformiwr ac fel cefnogaeth i artistiaid gan gynnwys Belle & Sebastian, Pavement, Mogwai, Sea Power, Slow Club a KT Tunstall, ac mae wedi perfformio mewn gwyliau gan gynnwys Glastonbury, Field Day, Bestival, Deer Shed, Celtic Connections, The Edinburgh Fringe a Green Man.

HMS Morris
Known for their innovative and vibrant live shows, HMS Morris are a bilingual, female-fronted art-rock powerhouse from Cardiff. 2024 was a landmark year for the band. They performed four shows at SXSW in Texas, delivered a standout performance at Green Man Festival – hailed as one of the festival’s most memorable moments – and earned their third Welsh Music Prize nomination, complete with a live performance at the ceremony.

Bringing a whole new dimension to the night is Pictish Trail who has resolutely furrowed his own path, steadily creating a unique catalogue of recordings & performances, while eschewing the blueprint of the predictable singer-songwriter in favour of something untidily intriguing. Pictish Trail has toured the world both as a headliner and as support for artists including Belle & Sebastian, Pavement, Mogwai, Sea Power, Slow Club and KT Tunstall, and he has performed at festivals including Glastonbury, Field Day, Bestival, Deer Shed, Celtic Connections, the Edinburgh Fringe and Green Man.
