This year's conference will focus on the pivotal role that Anti-Bias Education plays in children's development and well-being.
Conference Overview
Our guides for the day are
 Debbie LeeKeenan
 and 
John Nimmo,
 leaders in the early learning field and co-directors/co-founders of 
Anti-Bias Leaders ECE
. John and Debbie will begin the day with a brief keynote followed by a screening of their Emmy-nominated film, 
Reflecting on Anti-Bias Education in Action: The Early Years
.
Following the screening of the film, participants can choose to attend a 2-hour morning workshop led by local ECE professionals.
In the afternoon, we'll gather again with Debbie & John to view their second ABE film,
 Families Embracing Anti-Bias Values
. Following this screening, participants will return to their small workshop groups from the morning for a 1-hour reflective dialogue.
To end our day, John & Debbie willl lead us in a closing keynote with some guided action-planning that participants can take back to their programs and daily work with children & families.

You can walk to the Seattle 520 Bridge from Bellevue, as shown in Figure 1. There is also a beautiful park and parking lot here. If you like to walk across the bridge, you can reach Seattle. If you like to take the bus, you can also do so. The bus station is just below the parking lot. There are many buses and the waiting time is not long. It is very convenient.
