Puffing billy was an interesting experience in Melbourne! The first curve with nice view of the bridge was the best part but it gets quite repetitive after that.Good for a one-time visit, but lower your expectations for excitement.

The location of the Melbourne Aquarium is very good, just on the banks of the Yarra River in the city center, and most urban hotels can be reached. The aquarium is quite rich in variety, there are some interactive programs, and there are also supporting restaurants. It takes about 3 hours to finish shopping.

If you can only choose one indoor attraction in Melbourne, I definitely recommend the Melbourne Museum! Especially the Dinosaur Museum, which completely subverted my imagination of fossil exhibitions - the skeletons of Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops actually &quot;came alive&quot; through 3D movies, and the anthropomorphic interactive plots made the ancient creatures super immersive! 

🦖 Immersive Dinosaur Museum: In addition to the shocking fossil display, the most amazing thing is that technology is used to give dinosaurs &quot;personalities&quot;. The scene of Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops bickering in the 3D movie is like watching a prehistoric animated blockbuster! (But the full English commentary may be a bit difficult for young children) 
🌿 Secret Tropical Garden: I didn&#39;t expect that there is a mini rainforest hidden in the museum! Waterfalls, tree frogs, insect-catching pitcher plants... Feel the tropical humidity in the air-conditioned area, the design is so thoughtful 
🐜 Insect Museum Easter Eggs: stick insects under a magnifying glass, glowing firefly tunnels, and a lot of interactive devices that can be operated by hands 

▪️ The Australian Aboriginal Culture Exhibition Area has precious historical relics, and you need to reserve 1 hour for a quiet stroll 
▪️ On rainy weekdays, there are fewer people in the afternoon, and the experience is better. Ctrip buys tickets for more discounts 

Although 3D movies are not very friendly to non-English-speaking children, compared to shopping malls, this is definitely a perfect choice for cloudy days in Melbourne/bringing children👍
