We will meet outside the Dorset Museum and Art Gallery and walk together round the town following in Hardy’s footsteps and those of his characters. 
Our route will take us to the Hangman’s Cottage, Colliton House, South Street, Maumbury Rings, Salisbury Fields and end where we began in front of the museum. There will be stops along the way for readings from his novels and poetry and lots of opportunity to talk about the life and works of Dorchester’s favourite son.
