Hamsey Community Theatre is returning by popular demand with a thrilling performance featuring the improvisation theatre group, ShakeItUp Shakespeare. In this unique show, the talented cast uses the language of Shakespeare, along with audience suggestions, to create a captivating new play right before your eyes. Prepare to be entertained by live music, songs, and plenty of laughter. At a ShakeItUp show, the audience plays a vital role in helping the improvisors bring to life an entirely original Shakespearean play on the spot. Choose your preferred Shakespearean genre and witness the hilarity unfold as the talented cast improvises a completely authentic (and delightfully ludicrous) performance that would make Willy Shakes himself proud. Accompanied by a talented ShakeItUp Band, this remarkable performance will commence promptly at 7pm. However, the doors will open at 6.30pm, allowing you to enjoy a small bar and snacks (available by donation).
