I decided to bring my children here when I got off Putuo and there was still some time before my flight. The half-price discount was very cost-effective. 1. Landmark of the Buddhist Kingdom by the Sea

33m Standing Guanyin Statue: Cast in imitation gold bronze, with her left hand holding a Dharma wheel and her right hand in the Abhaya Mudra (gesture of fearlessness), facing the sea, it is the most striking visual symbol of Putuoshan.

The Unwilling-to-Leave Guanyin Temple: Originally built in the Tang Dynasty, it is the site of the legend of a Japanese monk leaving his image and building the temple.
