Join the celebration of Omaha-area artists and the GRID that connects us all on December 17th at Slowdown! Amplify Arts, a nonprofit arts incubator, supports local artists in their mission to create meaningful change. Through funding, space, and opportunities for collective learning, Amplify Arts empowers artists to make a difference in our community. As we approach the end of 2023, we are thrilled to come together and honor the incredible talent within our midst. The event will feature exceptional performances by the Umoja Choir, Sgt Leisure, and Ian Tredway, as well as delectable food and drinks from Lola's. Additionally, limited edition tote bags featuring artwork by Amanda Huckins and Ilaamen Pelshaw will be available for purchase. Online ticket sales will close at 10am on December 17th, with tickets also available at the door for $15.00 each, including one drink. All proceeds directly support Amplify's work as an incubator. The performance schedule includes Sgt Leisure from 4:15-4:45 pm and Umoja Choir from 5:00-5:45 pm. People of all ages, including children, are welcome to attend this ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible event. Free parking is available in the venue's east parking lot, and metered street parking is also an option. Come and be part of this unifying experience celebrating the power of art in our community.
