Grapes of Wrath '24 is a thrilling two-day Buhurt event proudly sponsored by the Iron Lions. Join us at the stunning Mountain Run Winery in Culpeper, Virginia, as we bring you an unforgettable display of full-contact armored combat. This exhilarating 5v5 tournament will showcase the finest armored combat teams from across the Eastern United States, as they battle it out until only one team remains victorious.

In addition to witnessing the fierce battles on the solid wooden fighting area, attendees will have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the medieval era. La Compagnie du Griffon Doré will be joining us, providing a captivating experience with their medieval vendors and demonstrations of medieval life and customs. Discover how people lived, the common trades of the time, and the etiquette required in the presence of nobility.

Mark your calendars and stay tuned for the schedule, participating teams, vendors, and ticket information. Spectator tickets are available for $10 per day or $15 for the entire weekend. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the gate on the day of the event. Children aged 12 and under can attend for free.

To ensure a comfortable viewing experience, we encourage attendees to bring their lawn chairs or picnic blankets and arrive early to secure the best seats. As you watch the thrilling battles unfold, indulge in a wide selection of beer, wine, cider, and mead available for purchase at both the winery and the tournament site. Please note that outside alcohol is not permitted.

For those seeking an immersive experience, onsite camping is available (details can be obtained by messaging the winery).
