Please join us for a Generative Artificial Intelligence Skills in Schools (GenAISiS) workshop, taking place on 
Wednesday 18th June, 1:30-3:30pm, at
 
the Mitchell Library in Glasgow

The workshop will report on the results of 
GenAISiS
, a project funded by
 Responsible AI
 and delivered by a team of researchers at Robert Gordon University in partnership with CILIPS (Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals in Scotland) and school library professionals across Scotland.
During the workshop, we will present the data collected from secondary school students via practical activities, questionnaires and focus groups that explored their engagement, experiences and feelings around Generative Artificial Intelligence. Part of the presentation will include a screening of a video cartoon story co-created with young people, which addresses the experiences they shared. The presentation will also showcase a co-produced open educational toolkit that features a range of activities and resources for schools. Our aim is to welcome local schools and other key education stakeholders, gathering their feedback on the tools and content presented on the day.
CILIPS members, fellow professionals, families and young people of all ages are all welcome to attend this free workshop. No prior experience in AI is needed, only an interest in learning more about the responsible use of AI and contributing to the creation of materials that will benefit young people in developing their understanding of GenAI for years to come!
Please register in advance to join this popular in-person workshop. Tickets will be provided on a first come, first served basis. Should you no longer be able to attend, we kindly ask you to cancel your ticket as this will enable new spaces.

We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.

We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.

The Kevin Grove Museum of Art, located opposite the main campus of the University of Glasgow, adopts Spanish Baroque. The style of the Victorian red sandstone building is its distinctive feature. This is simply a dream castle. When I arrived, it was the April holiday, and there were almost no people on the road. Only the ancient buildings stood in the cold air, solemn and heavy, which made people feel awe.

It is said that it can be traced back to the famous William Conquest period. It was built to commemorate St. Diego. It took hundreds of years to build and has been around for nearly a thousand years. It is the oldest religious building in the entire Scottish region. It is also a must-see for tourists.

George Square

Peggy 

George Square is located in Glasgow city center and is very conveniently accessible by train or subway. On nice days, you can sunbathe and watch pigeons in the square. It is close to the famous shopping street, where you can buy souvenirs, clothes, shoes and socks. There are also many restaurants and eateries to choose from. 
George Square is a must-see attraction. In addition to admiring the architecture of the square;during different festivals, such as Christmas, the square is built into a Christmas Market, becoming a dynamic and happy atmosphere.
