"Join us for the highly anticipated debut screening of Y7's latest audio-visual artwork, Report 5923, at the E22 Lecture Theatre in Edinburgh. This groundbreaking sci-fi film, co-written with artificial intelligence (AI), showcases Y7's expertise in using AI for their creative projects. Inspired by Ursula K. Le Guin's novel The Dispossessed, Y7 trained a GPT-3 model to construct three captivating chapters that follow the protagonist, Shevek, on his anthropological-geographical journey across three different planets. To visually illustrate the film, Y7 utilized innovative text-to-image and text-to-video tools from Midjourney and Runway. The immersive experience is enhanced by a dynamic soundtrack, featuring a fusion of raw audio neural networks, text-to-audio AI tools, and sounds from Y7's previous audio research. Thanks to Elevenlabs, a New York-based AI company specializing in text-to-speech voice cloning tools, Report 5923 is narrated with cutting-edge technology. Y7, composed of the talented duo Hannah Cobb and Declan Colquitt, are renowned for their use of AI in audio-visual works and their thought-provoking cultural criticism. They have recently contributed to publications such as Flash Art and The Modernist, shedding light on emerging social trends and critically examining the impact of AI. At the panel discussion following the screening, Y7 will be joined by Tamara Trodd and Martin Disley, experts in History of Art and Design Informatics respectively, to delve into the use of generative AI in contemporary artistic production. This thought-provoking event is organized by Ian Rothwell and the Global Contemporary Research Group, History of Art. Join us for this intellectually stimulating evening, where we will explore the intersection of generative AI and contemporary art. The event will take place on November 29, 2023, with the screening of Report 5923 from 16:00 to 17:00, followed by the panel discussion from 17:00 to 17:30. A Q&A session will follow from 17:30 to 18:00, and a drinks reception will conclude the evening from 18:00 to 19:00. Walking on the street, you can see entertainers&#39; happy performances everywhere. This is the origin of traditional Scottish dress skirts, the blend of art and life makes people linger, it is worth a visit.

Located precisely at the end of the Royal Mile the Holyrood Place has beeb a Royal residence since the 16th century, and the original Abbey was founded in 1128 (which is still on site). It is absolutely a must-see during your time in Edinburgh, being a perfect example of a working palace. But do not compare it to the Buckingham Palace in London, since those two are completely different in all aspects but one, which is it being a monarch residence. Some rooms are filled up to the brim with historic events, and are featured in the famous paintings. One of which is the bedchambers of Mary Queen of Scots where her dear friend was killed right in front of her (there is also a spot which is claimed to be bloodstained with his blood where his body was left). Overall immersive experience guaranteed and I highly recommend visiting this palace. Don&#39;t forget to visit the Holyrood Abbey as well, as it is one of the oldest places in all Edinburgh and is very authentic in its ruins.

Very nice experience. You will get a free whisky glass after the wine tasting session. We acquired a lot of whisky knowledge and overall it is very interesting.

Carlton Hill is an iconic Edinburgh attraction known for its neoclassical complex, 360-degree city views and rich cultural activities. The design inspiration is based on the Parthenon in Athens. The Greek-style columns on the top of the mountain are magnificent, like the skeleton of a temple solidified by time, and they quietly guard Edinburgh. &zwnj;
