Join the Gemstone Faceting Class at NW Rockhounds in Seattle and learn the art of cutting a beautiful gemstone using our state-of-the-art faceting machines. Led by expert instructor Mike Froebe, this 6-part class will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from January 29th to February 9th. The class runs from 6pm to 9pm, with a total duration of 18 hours. 

In this comprehensive course, students aged 18 and above will receive hands-on training in selecting and faceting gemstones. Each student will be provided with a rough stone to cut and will be guided through the step-by-step process of creating their own faceted gem. The class will cover everything from understanding the workings of faceting machines to the art of polishing gemstones. Students will also gain insights into the fascinating world of gem rough and how light interacts with gems to create their unique sparkle. 

By participating in this class, students will not only acquire the skills to cut gemstones but also learn how to further develop their expertise and find valuable resources in the field. 

Please note that class size is limited to 4 students, and all supplies will be provided. Tickets for this event are priced at $375 and are non-transferable. Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event will be eligible for a refund.
