Join the 6 part Gemstone Faceting class at NW Rockhounds in Seattle to learn the art of cutting a beautiful gemstone using our high-quality faceting machines. Led by experienced instructor Mike Froebe, this 18-hour class will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from October 16th to October 27th, between 6pm and 9pm. 

During this comprehensive course, participants will receive all the necessary supplies and guidance to create their own faceted gemstone. Starting with an introduction to selecting and faceting gemstones, students will learn about the workings of faceting machines and the science of light and optics as it relates to gemstone sparkle. Discover how to identify the best gem rough and unlock the secrets of using a faceting machine to bring out the beauty of each stone. 

In addition to practical skills, students will gain valuable insights on finding further resources and expertise to continue their gemstone faceting journey. Please note that the class is limited to 4 students, to ensure personalized instruction, and participants must be 18 years of age or older.
