During this half-day afternoon workshop you will be taught gelli plate basics and learn how to layer colour and texture using botanical material (pressed leaves) to produce interesting effects. You will come away with a variety of prints to frame or use in your own work. The workshop is for all skill levels – from complete beginners to experienced artists who would like to try a new technique. I recommend you bring an apron with you as gelli printing can be messy and it’s almost impossible to remove dried acrylic paint from your clothes, all other materials and equipment are supplied.
