Lyndsey is an IBCLC, holistic sleep advocate, paediatric nurse and specialist children’s public health nurse (health visitor), researcher and speaker.
She is the author of Holistic Sleep Coaching (2018) Let’s talk about your new family’s sleep (2020) Still Awake (2021) Breastfeeding the Brave (2022) coauthor of The Writing Book (2022) and Why Childhood Illness Matters (2023) as well as the co-founder of the Holistic Sleep Coaching Program and Thought Rebellion.
Lyndsey is a respected international speaker, training health professionals, childcare specialists and parents on responsive parenting, breastfeeding medically complex children, and respectful evidence-based sleep support. She is regularly commissioned by NHS teams to deliver training on responsive sleep without sleep training.
The founder of Breastfeeding the Brave, and the mother of a childhood sepsis and cancer survivor, she often speaks to a variety of national and international audiences about the nuances of breastfeeding medically complex children in the paediatric setting, drawing on her research and dual skills as a paediatric nurse and IBCLC.
She completed her PhD exploring the needs and challenges of breastfed medically complex infants/children and their families in 2023.
