The Glyptotek holds one of the world’s finest collections of works by the French artist Paul Gauguin (1848–1903). In recent years, many of the museum’s 58 Gauguin pieces—including paintings, woodcarvings, drawings and ceramics—have been on loan to renowned museums across the globe. Now, they return home to be shown together in a presentation, offering new perspectives on Gauguin’s well-known works. The Gauguin collection is joined by the Japanese-Sāmoan contemporary artist Yuki Kihara (b. 1975) and her video work First Impressions: Paul Gauguin, recently acquired by the museum. Together, their works open a dialogue across time, cultural divides and vast oceanic distances.

The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen is an iconic symbol of Denmark. It was created by Edward Eriksson and completed in 1913. The statue is based on Andersen&#39;s fairy tale &quot;The Little Mermaid&quot;, and depicts a half-human, half-fish girl with a melancholy expression and an elegant posture. The Little Mermaid statue is not only an exquisite work of art, but also carries the culture and spirit of Denmark. Although it has experienced wind and rain and destruction, it has always attracted tourists from all over the world and is a business card of the &quot;Fairy Tale Kingdom&quot;.

We arrived at 2pm and were lucky enough to see the Royal Guards&#39; Changing of the Guards. I felt that the guards&#39; hats were too high, which made the guards look shorter than they actually were, and they didn&#39;t look so beautiful when they walked.

We didn&#39;t go into the palace, but just walked around outside. The exterior of the palace is quite spectacular. It is said that when the queen lives here, the Danish flag will be raised.

If you want to see the cavalry changing of the guard, it is recommended to come at 12 noon.

Nyhavn, Denmark is a landmark attraction in Copenhagen. It is an artificial canal built between 1669 and 1673. The canal is lined with colorful townhouses from the 17th and 18th centuries, which are rich in color and form a unique landscape. Andersen once lived here and created many classic fairy tales, adding cultural heritage to it. You can stroll and take a boat tour here to experience the rich Nordic style and cozy atmosphere.

Rosenborg Castle

Rosenborg Palace stands quietly in the King&#39;s Garden in the center of Copenhagen. As a model of Danish Renaissance architecture, it was ordered to be built by Christian IV in 1606 and completed in 1633 after 27 years. It is based on the Dutch Renaissance style, with red brick walls and bronze eaves, and a simple and rustic atmosphere. On the three-story main building, the towering tower and the spiral roof point straight to the sky, and the painted marble on the top adds to the luxury. Surrounded by a moat, the north suspension bridge connects to the main entrance, and the &quot;Green Bridge&quot; in the south is hidden in the garden. It is a landmark landscape in Copenhagen.

The Organ Church is reached by taking two buses from the city center. It got this nickname because a group of decorations inside the church look like an organ. The church is not big, but it has a unique facade, high ceilings and symmetrical design. It is also very spectacular. It is a must-see attraction when visiting Copenhagen.
