Game Worlds is the major new playable exhibition premiering this September.Game Worlds transports you inside the levels of 30 unforgettable videogames, from global blockbusters like World of Warcraft (Blizzard Entertainment) to pioneer of the life simulation genre The Sims (Electronic Arts) and Neopets (World of Neopia), and a highly anticipated Australian title for 2025.
Play some of the world’s favourite games in ways you’ve never been able to before, with exclusive custom builds. Explore original design materials, concept art and iconic objects from across genres, including indie gems and Triple-A masterpieces.Told through the lens of iconic videogames, Game Worlds charts technical and design innovation to uncover what makes these virtual worlds feel alive. It celebrates the communities, and friendships that flourish within these digital landscapes. Game Worlds shows how games evolve through player interaction and the unique creative partnership between designers and players.

The Puffing Billy steam train is really great! Sitting in the retro carriage, listening to the whistle, passing through dense forests and valleys. The scenery along the way is picturesque, and you can stick your feet out of the window and wave and interact with the enthusiastic residents. It feels like being in a fairy tale world. This unique journey makes people forget their troubles and is extremely comfortable.

Highly recommended! The museum&#39;s design is incredibly creative, and the exhibits are rich and diverse. The animal specimens, in particular, are remarkably lifelike! The text descriptions and physical displays throughout the exhibition hall are meticulously designed and produced. The interactive experiences are especially commendable, with various dynamic displays and videos helping viewers gain a more thorough understanding. It&#39;s definitely worth taking the time to appreciate it.

Lovely place to walk past on the way to the Melbourne museum. This time of the year, there&rsquo;s autumn leaves covering the walkways. There is even a small pond with some ducks in the corner. And right in front of the royal exhibition hall, there is a fountain where sometimes you will catch couples taking their wedding photos here.
