From the Lips to the Moon
 performance is a unique experience with a fresh line-up of guest musicians and poets weaving together live electronics, unearthly melodies, noise, twisted beats, fierce poetry, heavy subs, and non-stories told in goosebumps and half-familiar languages.
Having become London's most sought after music+poetry event, 'lipstomoon' shows have been on a sell out roll for two years. Their first Brighton performance at the Rose Hill will see Pouya and Tara joined by some of Brighton's finest musicians and poets. Full line up TBA.
From the Lips to the Moon
 creates an immersive space filled with fantasy, noise, experimentation, and thrown-togetherness. Since 2022, they have performed at the V&A, Southbank Centre, Cafe OTO, The Vinyl Factory, Reference Point, NTS, Soho Radio, Radio al-Hara, and internationally, and worked with over a hundred guest artists. Their debut book of poetry, music, runaway words, and echoes is called 
In times of darkness
 
(2024) and they’re debut album is coming out in 2025. They're covering south of England: 24 May at

The Rose Hill is a step free venue and the toilets are on the main floor - the only barrier is the width within the cubicle is only 140cm. Please direct access enquiries to 
the venue.

BIOS
Pouya Ehsaei
 is a composer, live electronic musician, and sound designer, and winner of thr Paul Hamlyn Foundation Award. He has released two solo albums, 
There
 (2014) & 
RocRast
 (2020), and two albums with his band 
Ariwo
. His performances span Royal Albert Hall, Montreux Jazz Festival, Barbican, Womex, Womad, and more, with works featured at Venice Biennale, Contempo Fest, and international theatres, galleries, and cinemas.

Tara Fatehi
 is a performer, writer and multidisciplinary artist from Tehran based in London. She has sixteen different voices and writes apocalyptic facts, soul-crunching laughs, adult lullabies and theatrical treasures that forefront mistranslation, ambiguity, disjunction, playfulness and unfinishedness. Alongside numerous international performances, exhibitions and published works, her book 
Mishandled Archive
 is published by LADA (2020).

Had my first date here with my partner and we hadthe best time. An amazing aquarium with abeautiful atmosphere, lights and gorgeouscreatures! I love animals and fish and seeing themhere was wonderful. Staff were lovely and veryknowledgeable. The place was clean, easy tonavigate and extremely ambient and beautiful. We went on a Thursday afternoon so was pretty quiet!

One of the best piers in the South of England. There is lots to do with tons of seaside rides, fun arcade games and food. Highly recommend catching the sunset here and if you&rsquo;re lucky you might catch the starlings dancing at dusk, I didn&rsquo;t know they do this and it was the most spectacular striking and stunning natural phenomenon I had seen, it was mesmerising. Highest chances of seeing the starlings dance is between November-March, we visited in early March
