The Visual Arts Guild of Frisco, in association with Play Frisco - Parks and Recreation, presents the 2nd Annual En Plein Air Frisco, which will take place from April 25th to April 27th, 2024. This exciting event, which is free to attend, invites selected artists to set up their easels and paint outdoors in three beautiful locations across the City of Frisco, Texas.

The participating parks include the Heritage Museum and historic park on Page Street, Freedom Meadow at Warren Park on Eldorado Parkway, and Frisco Commons Park and the Grove at the Commons on McKinney Road. Artists will compete for cash prizes in this juried competition, and the winners will be announced soon.

Art enthusiasts are encouraged to visit the parks during the event to witness the creative process, interact with the artists, and ask questions. Don't forget to take selfies and tag Visual Arts Guild of Frisco and Play Frisco with the hashtags #enpleinairfrisco2024 and #enpleinairfrisco24. 

For those interested in purchasing artwork, a public viewing will be held daily at the Grove at Frisco Commons. All artwork is for sale, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the VAGF. However, the artwork must remain on-site until the end of the public awards reception.

Refreshments will be served at the open reception on April 27th from 5pm to 7pm. This is the perfect opportunity to invite friends, family, and neighbors to join in the celebration. If you have any questions or need more information, please contact info@vagf.org.
