Experience the thrill of skateboarding with our FREE weekly coaching sessions at Brendon Lawrence Sports Centre in Nottingham. Suitable for all ages 7 and above, these sessions are designed to provide high-quality coaching in a safe and accessible environment. 

Thanks to generous funding from Nottingham City Council and the Renewal Trust, we are able to offer this opportunity to children and young adults in the St Ann's, Sneinton, Mapperley, and Dale wards. While everyone is welcome to join, priority will be given to those residing in these areas when spaces are limited. 

Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, our trained coaches will ensure that you receive a thorough introduction to skateboarding or help you progress further. Skateboards and helmets are available to borrow, and we have 24 helmets and complete skateboards ready for you to use free of charge. 

Please note that if you need to borrow equipment, you will need to reserve tickets in advance. However, if you have your own gear, simply turn up without booking. All participants are required to wear appropriate footwear, such as trainers, gym shoes, or plimsolls. Sandals, flip-flops, and shoes with raised heels or wedges are not permitted.

Rest assured that our experienced coaches hold DBS certificates and have undergone child safeguarding training. The event is fully insured through our community group membership with Skateboard GB, the National Governing Body for skateboarding. We will also register all participants upon arrival and collect contact details of parents/carers.
