Founded in 2012 by Conductor Dr. Sean Boulware, Aria Women’s Choir is an auditioned ensemble of talented female vocalists from the Central Coast of California. Accompanied by piano, Aria will be performing a diverse repertoire, ranging from folk music from the US, Scotland and Africa, to gospel, jazz, sprituals, contemporary ballads and the poetic lyrics of Rudyard Kipling and Bob Dylan. Aria Women’s Choir brings joy and gives voice to women across the Central California coast.Celebrating the power and beauty of women's voices, Aria champions contemporary andclassic repertoire written for treble voices. Our mission is to uplift, empower,and connectwomen through meaningful musical expression, artistic excellence, and communityengagement. She Sings! is a celebration of women’s voices—resilient, radiant, and resolute. From thehaunting lullaby of “Seal Lullaby” to the stirring call for justice in “The Times They Are A-Changin’,” this program explores the emotional spectrum of womanhood through sacred,spiritual, and secular works. Each piece reflects a shared journey of hope, remembrance,transformation, and community.Composers like Elaine Hagenberg and Craig Courtney offer deep serenity, while the folk-inspired settings of “Loch Lomond” and “Wild Mountain Thyme” evoke heritage andtradition. Songs such as “Akekho Ofana No Jesu” and “Children Go Where I Send Thee”amplify the power of spirituals and African traditions that speak to universal truths.Together, we lift up stories and harmonies that transcend time—woven by and for womenwho sing, who lead, who remember, and who rise Dr. Seán Boulware is a renowned conductor, adjudicator, clinician, and vocalist active across the U.S. and Europe. He consults with choral organizations on chorus management, audience development, performance tours, and technology. Seán has prepared choirs for conductors like John Alexander, Seiji Ozawa, and John Rutter, and for performances with artists such as Josh Groban and Michael McDonald. He frequently conducts at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center and has led choirs in over a dozen countries, including Italy, England, Germany, and Japan. From 2005–2007, he was recognized by American Idol for conducting the most downloaded Classical Group. In 2012, he led the Monterey Peninsula Choral Society at the London Summer Olympics. As a vocalist, Seán has performed with top orchestras including the LA and NY Philharmonics, and toured nationally in Les Misérables and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He also directs and performs in community theater. Seán currently conducts the Monterey Peninsula Voices and Aria Women’s Choir, and has studied under esteemed educators such as Dr. Joseph Flummerfelt and John Alexander. In the summer of 2025, Aria Women’s Choir is thrilled to embark on an international tour to Scotland, further sharing their passion for choral artistry and celebrating women’s voices on a global stage. This is simply a dream castle. When I arrived, it was the April holiday, and there were almost no people on the road. Only the ancient buildings stood in the cold air, solemn and heavy, which made people feel awe.

We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.

We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.

This museum is a place where people have to punch in. I especially like the oil paintings in the museum. After seeing it, I feel a great enjoyment. The museum is also a favorite place for primary and secondary school students.

It is said that it can be traced back to the famous William Conquest period. It was built to commemorate St. Diego. It took hundreds of years to build and has been around for nearly a thousand years. It is the oldest religious building in the entire Scottish region. It is also a must-see for tourists.

George Square

George Square is located in Glasgow city center and is very conveniently accessible by train or subway. On nice days, you can sunbathe and watch pigeons in the square. It is close to the famous shopping street, where you can buy souvenirs, clothes, shoes and socks. There are also many restaurants and eateries to choose from. 
George Square is a must-see attraction. In addition to admiring the architecture of the square;during different festivals, such as Christmas, the square is built into a Christmas Market, becoming a dynamic and happy atmosphere.
