Professional basketball is coming to Frederick, Maryland! The Frederick Flying Cows Pro Basketball team is holding tryouts for their 2024 season. The tryouts will take place on Sunday, November 12th at the Jack Manley Wellness and Athletic Center in Catonsville, MD from 12pm-3:00pm ET. Registration fees for online pre-registration are $150 and walk-up registration on the day of the tryout is $200. All players selected for the Frederick Flying Cows basketball team will be paid professionals who are required to be 100% dedicated to the team during the season. The team aims to provide fun and affordable entertainment for the citizens of Frederick and become a valued part of the community. The Basketball League (TBL), a six-year-old league playing throughout North America, is the platform for the Frederick Flying Cows to showcase their talent. With a goal of having sixty-four teams in the USA and twenty-four teams in Canada, the TBL offers high-quality basketball just below the NBA G-league level. The Frederick Flying Cows' head coach, Ed Corporal, is a veteran coach with a .832 winning percentage in 5 seasons and has coached players who have gone on to the NBA.
