Norman Foster (British, b. 1935), is one of the most esteemed international architects of our time, with projects worldwide. Among innumerable accolades, he was awarded the prestigious Pritzker Prize for Architecture in 1999.
This installation focuses on models and designs for a select few of his many celebrated projects, organized into three themes: Working with History; Embracing the Environment, and Community and Culture. All these subjects are underpinned by sustainability, and crucial to Foster + Partners’ vision for an upcoming renovation of The San Diego Museum of Art west wing.

While it&#39;s not the most extensive small exhibition I&#39;ve ever seen, the exhibits are well selected and the building itself is stunning - especially on a cold or rainy day. Also, it&#39;s free to enter, so worth a visit!

The best view of the Andes Mountains. I climbed up instead of taking the cable car. The distance is not far, but the ground seems to be under repair. I fell and it was not worth it. In addition to enjoying the scenery on the top of the mountain, remember to try the local classic cold drink mote. It looks like a cold drink with pudding and beans, and it tastes good. It is said that the local Chileans will also have a cup at the top of the mountain. I took the cable car down the mountain. It was 3400, about 4 US dollars, which is not expensive. It is still a must-see attraction.

Standing among the colonial buildings of the Plaza de Armas, dyed honey by the setting sun, I vaguely heard the echoes of history. The chiming of the church&#39;s bronze bells startled a flock of pigeons as I stroked the polished stone carvings framing the central fountain&mdash;said to have been a resting place for countless travelers over three centuries. An elderly Indian in a striped poncho sat on a bench weaving colorful ropes. At his feet, a small mound of colored salt formed in an aluminum box, while a young man wearing headphones skated by him. The changing of the guards at the presidential palace, their heels tapping out a rhythmic beat, couldn&#39;t drown out the melody of &quot;The Dove&quot; played by an accordionist in the corner. I pulled a coin with Bolivar&#39;s face from my pocket and suddenly felt that this square resembled it: engraved with the solemnity of the colonial era on one side, and the heat of everyday life on the other.
