The Bund is located on the banks of the Huangpu River in Huangpu District, Shanghai, the outer Huangpu Beach, which is a historical and cultural district of China. From 1844 (the Qingdao Guangxu four years), the Bund area was designated as the British Concession, becoming a true portrayal of Shanghai Shiliyangchang, and also the starting point of the old Shanghai Concession and the entire modern city of Shanghai.
