The Fool School Clown Class in Ypsilanti is a six-session course designed to help participants discover their inner clown and create a skit. Led by Rose Carver, a clown teacher and performer, this course draws on the anarchistic style of clowning known as "Nouveau Clown." Carver is an experienced musician, filmmaker, and performance artist who founded the Detroit-based clown punk theater collective, BURN mARALAGO. With her extensive training and international experience, Carver brings a wealth of knowledge to her students. The Fool School Clown Class takes place every Thursday from March 7th to April 11th at the Dreamland Theater on North Washington Street in Ypsilanti.
