Experience the art of fluid drawing at the upcoming workshop led by JanArdenArtist at Bethlem Gallery in Beckenham. Join the 'art automatism' session where participants delve into creating art without conscious thought, tapping into the depths of the unconscious mind for inspiration. JanArdenArtist incorporates this technique into his own practice, producing intricate pieces by allowing the Biro to dance across the paper with eyes closed, drawing from the subconscious. From Celtic knot-work to African faces and South American Shamanistic Aztec imagery, a unique fusion of symbols and shapes emerges. Attendees will explore drawing freely using pens and pencils. Please note that under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult, and concessions are available for select groups. Kindly inform the facilitator if you prefer not to be included in any workshop photos.
