Fledglings Summer Sensory camp is designed for:
Children aged from nursery to p.2
With special educational needs
Led by our skilled and experienced Behaviour Therapy and Psychology team, this camp will take place at our independent special school (Sensations Nest) in Carryduff.
Activities will be designed to allow children to explore their senses, learn, create and have fun!
At the Nest, we use the outdoors as a key element of our learning experience. We anticipate as much outside time as possible (there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes!!), and children will be in a small group, with high pupil:staff ratio.
We will be playing in the mud kitchen, exploring the jungle gym, sand and water tray, messy play experiences as well as using specialist approaches from our trained team, such as Attention Autism. Your little one will not even know they are learning!
Hours each day are from 10am to 2pm.

You asked, we listened!! This year we are running the scheme for two weeks instead of one. This allows us to get to know your child better, to have more meaningful input in terms of therapeutic work, and it gives parents peace of mind for longer during those lengthy summer holidays!! The option to attend just one week, or both are available. Discount for those who attend both weeks.

This attraction is really immersive and fun whilst being informative. Diving into the history of how the titanic right from the beginning the experience really gives you a clear idea on how people lived and worked back then. This tour is perfect for any age group and is a great way to spend a few outs of your day.
