Fledgling Camp is a nature day camp for ages 7-8 from June 16-20, 2025. Camp meets Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary in Irvine. Campers will learn all about the wonderful life of birds and gain experience in beginning bird-watching techniques. During the week, children will take daily walks, keep a nature journal, create nature art, and learn fun bird facts taught by enthusiastic and experienced Audubon Naturalists. Fee is $250 Regular Price and $225 for Audubon Members (Promo Code: MEMBER).

I spent an afternoon here with my sister and our six children picking strawberries and it was really fun. Staff will take you around the farm and introduce you to a variety of foods, such as green beans, carrots, sweet corn and cucumbers, and finally we can bring home the strawberries we picked. Tips: eat as many strawberries as possible! Really fresh and delicious. The children also like the sunflowers and chickens here. They also picked a lot of melons and pumpkins, which was fun. We will come back next time we have a chance.
