The FitCrest 5K, powered by Baptist Health, is back for its third annual event on January 6, 2024, at Evelyn Greer Park in Pinecrest. This exciting initiative, organized by Pinecrest Parks and Recreation, aims to inspire individuals to prioritize their personal health and wellness goals as they embark on their fitness journey. Starting at 8 a.m., participants can expect a timed 5K race that promises an invigorating challenge. To ensure accurate timing, all race bibs will come equipped with a timing chip. Tickets are available for $30, but prices will increase to $35 after December 1. For those who prefer to register on the day of the event, tickets will be available for purchase from 6:30 a.m. onwards. Pre-registered 5K participants will also receive an event t-shirt while supplies last, making this a memorable experience for everyone involved. The FitCrest 5K is a family-friendly affair, providing an opportunity for individuals of all ages to come together and embrace a healthy lifestyle.
