Hume City Council’s Fair Access Policy is dedicated to addressing this disparity by ensuring that our sports facilities are inclusive and open to all. Key goals of the policy include: Increasing participation in sport and recreation.Improving access to and use of community sports and recreation facilities.Supporting women, girls, and gender-diverse people in leadership and governance roles.Aligning with the Gender Equality Act 2020 and the Fair Access Roadmap.By working together, we can create a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive through sport and recreation.
