The Evening Group Ride to Colwick Country Park for Travel Well is a leisurely short women's bike ride in Bulwell. Starting from Riverside Pharmacy on Main Street, cyclists will head to Sneinton Greenway to begin the off-road trail to Colwick Country Park. The ride will encompass a scenic journey around the lakes before returning. Women of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds are welcome to join, as the group maintains a pace suited to the slowest rider and ensures no one is left behind. Qualified ride leaders and mechanics will provide tips and tricks to enhance the cycling experience. Organized by Women in Tandem, a Nottingham-based Community Interest Company, this session is part of the Travel Well project in collaboration with Nottingham City Council and funded by Active Travel England. Participants are required to complete a registration survey for the funders, either before or after the ride. The event is exclusively for self-identifying women, who are encouraged to bring a functional bike, appropriate clothing, water, snacks, and a passion for cycling.
