Starting November 11th, the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas (DSACT) and Swift Fit Events are teaming up to present the DSACT & Swift Fit Events Weekly Run Club. This running club is open to individuals of all skill levels and aims to prepare participants for the Austin Marathon. The club will meet every Saturday from 9 to 10 AM at the YMCA Town Lake in downtown Austin. Experienced instructors and guides will lead the group along the scenic Ladybird Trail. The main goal of this inclusive and social club is to encourage healthy habits and foster meaningful friendships. Swift Fit Events will oversee the weekly runs with the assistance of volunteers. Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does, or simply want to meet new people, everyone is welcome to join. The session will begin with a Circle Up from 9 to 9:15 AM, where participants introduce themselves and receive motivation and support. Afterward, you can choose to run or walk in one of the pace groups or stick to your own plan. To get involved, simply RSVP and come dressed appropriately for running. Don't forget to bring a smile! The run club will take place on November 11th, 18th, December 2nd, 9th, 16th, and every Saturday from January 6th to February 10th. As an ordinary tourist, I thought the procedure to enter the Capitol Building was very complicated, but I didn&#39;t expect that I could enter and visit just by checking the bags I brought with me.
This building was built in 1885 and covers an area of ​​51 acres. It was designed by architect Elijah E Myer in imitation of the Capitol Building in Washington. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and was named a National Historic Landmark in 1986.
It is amazing that the passage of time has not affected its appearance and internal structure at all. It is as new as ever. Visitors can visit the government offices and have time to visit the exterior of the building to appreciate this century-old building from all angles.
