Using photographs and inspiration you have brought on the day, you will be taken through the process of creating a line drawing template to work from when creating your wire drawing.  You will then be shown how to use different gauges of wire and tools, such as pliers, to make your final wire drawings.  Finally, we'll mount the finished piece onto a foam board to take home and frame. Artist bio: Based at the West Yorkshire Print Workshop, Helaina creates unique 3D wirework wall pieces that cross the boundaries between drawing and sculpture. She has exhibited nationally and internationally over the past 18 years. Inspired by tea and tea drinking, elegant architecture and Yorkshire landscapes, Helaina also welcomes commissions. When attending a workshop you can receive 10% off within the Gallery Shop on the day of your session.
