Join us for Warrington Castle: A Digital Walk-Through Reconstructing Objects of the Past, a unique exploration of our town’s deep and fascinating heritage. Walk with us as we uncover the stories that shaped Warrington from the Anglo-Saxon, Roman, Viking, and Norman periods and experience our heritage through carefully curated 3D printed artifacts.

Ticket Cap: 50 participants (Due to high demand, early booking is recommended)

Our goal is to connect people with place, We know that feeling connected to where we live supports health and the wellbeing of people in our town: creating stronger communities, promoting wellness, and combatting loneliness and isolation.
How do we intend to do this?
By inviting community participation with interactive outdoor historical walks.
Creating a historical attraction with digital and augmented reality experiences.
Providing accessible historical learning experiences for all ages.
Digitising and showcasing artifacts that strengthen local identity and awareness.
What to Expect
Walking tour with professionals including local Archaeologist Max Jacobs from the University of Manchester and Jenny Addis who is an Industrial Archeologist.
Discover Five Curated Artifacts: including pottery from Wilderspool and 3D-printed medieval artifacts, bringing history to life.
