Devoted Service Live Performance and Tour Join us for a performance of Devoted Service at the Anzac Memorial, Hyde Park. Recipient of a National Trust Heritage Award in the Education and Interpretation category, 2024 is the last chance for the public to see this piece of Great War verbatim theatre. Discover the incredible true stories of women who served as nurses and matrons during the Great War. In a moving live performance, you will hear words from the personal accounts of four New South Wales women brought to life by an actor. From the Gallipoli landing to the sinking of HMHS Gloucester Castle, you will be captivated by their extraordinary letters and diaries. This program also includes a short film featuring poetry written by convalescing soldiers, a tour of the Anzac Memorial, and an opportunity to explore the nurses’ personal objects on display in our Centenary Exhibition. 3 performances only. Don’t miss out.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time as no late arrivals will be accepted into the performance. Entry is via the Liverpool Street entrance.

While wandering around Hyde Park we stumbled upon the Anzac War Memorial. From a distance we thought the building was interesting so we walked closer to see what it was all about. As we walked up the steps through the reflecting pool in front we were greeted by a friendly man who asked if this was our first visit and offered to tell us a little about the place. He was a nice guy and I guess he was a volunteer, maybe a veteran. He told us about the history of the place including the old and new areas and who was responsible for each area. He explained the different areas of the memorial and the beautiful statue that adorns the center of the building. We didn&#39;t have time to take it all in as we were meeting up with friends from overseas nearby. So we will be back in the future to spend some quiet time and take it all in.

If you don&#39;t want to go to the crowded Bondi Beach to watch dumplings when you come to Sydney, I strongly recommend this super beautiful cliff bay! Located on the edge of the cliff, facing the vast Pacific Ocean, it is a bit thrilling, but the view is super wide and the scenery is super beautiful!

The water here is super blue and super clear! It looks good without adding filters, and there is also a very iconic small door.

However, if you take pictures here, you must pay attention to safety. It is not recommended to walk too close to the side for taking pictures. After all, there is a cliff behind you, which is still very dangerous. Be careful! I heard that people often fall down!
