What shapes emerging practice? At Artspace Aotearoa, the annual New Commissions exhibition is our approach to fostering explorative, sustainable, and resourced support for emerging practices. In this Deep dive lecture, Kaiāwhina Whakaaturanga Assistant Curator Robbie Handcock will discuss broader ways emerging practice is shaped in Aotearoa. Robbie will look at calls-for-proposals as a data set, and present initial findings into trends and how these relate to a broader art ecosystem. The talk will be followed by a Q&A. Booking is encouraged but not essential. WHAT TO EXPECT

Robbie Handcock is an artist and curator who grew up in small towns in Australia, Philippines and Aotearoa and is currently Kaiāwhina Whakaaturanga Assistant Curator at Artspace Aotearoa. As an artist, Robbie works across painting and printmaking, and as a curator has made exhibitions for artist-run spaces and public galleries. Robbie was a facilitator with play_station in Te Whanganui-a-Tara from 2019-2020 and curated the exhibition The Inner of Islands at Te Tuhi in 2021.

The Sky Tower is a landmark building. The tower overlooks the entire Auckland. The scenery is very good, but the price is average. The main one is coming. It must be going up to play, haha. The weather was very good that day, and I caught up with the Christmas New Year&#39;s Day holiday. There were still quite a lot of people.

We had a good time at the Aquarium. We had a family photo just at the entrance and proceeded to be greeted with the Penguins. These are well cared for and was great to see the replica home the aquarium management have created for them. It also boast with different varieties of fish, jelly fish, seahorses, reptiles and many other sea creatures. During our visit, the place was not crowded so we were able to see each creature displayed. It is not a big aquarium so can take within an hour and half to see everything. Don&rsquo;t forget after you exit the aquarium to make it across the street to take some stunning photos with the background of the sky tower.

I took my parents to New Zealand to travel, Trip.com booked tickets, and then booked a Chinese explanation (mandarin highlights tour) on the official website. The Auckland whale and dolphin discovery trip is definitely a project worth visiting at sea. Everyone takes a yacht to the deep sea. You will see groups of dolphins jumping by your boat. It is very cute and lucky. You&#39;ll see big whales floating out to the sea for breath, and when you see goldfish, all the tourists on board will exclaim, it&#39;s really, really memorable.
