The VASD Program is delighted to present the DEANNA MARSIGLIESE - The Art of Exploration Artist Talk. This free and public event will take place at RMCAD's Mary Harris Auditorium in Denver, Colorado. Join us on November 7, 2023, as we open the doors at 5:00 pm, with the talk commencing at 5:30 pm. To secure your spot at this in-person event, please register using the provided link. 

Deanna Marsigliese, an Italian-Canadian animation art director based in San Francisco, CA, will be the esteemed speaker for this occasion. Marsigliese, known for her exceptional work in character and costume design, has been a valuable asset to Pixar Animation Studios since 2012. Her impressive list of credits includes renowned films such as Soul (2020), Onward (2020), Toy Story 4 (2019), Incredibles 2 (2018), Bao (2018), Inside Out (2015), and The Good Dinosaur (2013). Notably, Marsigliese recently served as both character art director and animation sketch artist lead for Pixar's Luca (2021).

During her Artist Talk, titled The Art of Exploration, Marsigliese will delve into the concept that though many people look, only a few truly SEE. She will also share the creative habits that keep her engaged and inspired in her work. This event marks an exciting addition to the 2023/2024 VASD Program Series, which showcases exceptional artists and their work. The State Government Plaza in Colorado, where Denver is located, is where you can visit the state government&#39;s golden-domed Capitol. Many state governments in the United States have areas open to tourists for free. You just need to go through security check at their specified time.

This Colorado State Government Capitol is the seat of the state legislature and the governor&#39;s office, and is also the office of the Senate and House of Representatives.

It is said that the golden roof of this capitol is made of pure gold to commemorate the gold rush in Colorado.

Walking in this state capitol, you can really feel that every step and every scene is particularly &quot;American&quot;, and you can see people or events related to Colorado&#39;s history wherever you look.

For a 24k pure tourist who is not so interested in American history, the magnificent European architectural style is the best for punching in. For tourists who just need to take a quick look, it usually takes 30-40 minutes to visit the three floors that can be visited, except for historical learning tourists.

I haven&#39;t been able to go abroad for a while, so I can only take out the photos I took before and look at them. I miss it a lot. We also bought a lot of things in this place, and its architecture is also very local.

Lots of great exhibits and the animals look well cared for.  I would love for more non zoo attractions and services.  More food stands for instance.
