Alice Chadwick grew up in a small town in Britain in the 1980s, a place she returns to in her fiction. She studied English at Cambridge and was a student on City Lit’s fiction Masterclass. Published by Daunt in February 2025 and Biblioasis in Canada/US in May, DARK LIKE UNDER is her first novel. It was an editor’s pick in the Bookseller and a book to look out for in 2025 in the Independent. Her non-fiction has been included in an anthology of London writing by Indie Novella. She lives in London. Marigold Atkey is publisher at Daunt Books Publishing, a house that aims to bring to readers the most exciting literary writing from across the world and the decades. May you go to this millennium, the Temple of Knowledge. This is definitely a reason to go to the UK, the British Museum, you see thousands of times more than you can think. Teacher Diana&#39;s 3-hour explanation was great, thanking her professionalism for letting us see the dead artifacts lively.

After watching the Buckingham Palace changing ceremony, we arrived at Westminster Abbey. There were a lot of people in the queue, about an hour and a half before entering the church. There is a interpreter at the door, you can choose Chinese. Follow the team and the interpreter is also explained. My favorite is the Matisse-style painting window. The staff in the church is very high quality and the temperament is very good, which is awe-inspiring.

I thought it was a special ride on the Ferris wheel, but the London Eye made me hit the face! When the capsule reached the highest point, I suddenly understood why the British love to chat. The Thames, Big Ben and the debris building look like they are shining in the sun, and it is really different every day. After landing, I found that the photos were all taken as glass reflections. Forget it, leave some regrets to be true.

The Queen&#39;s favorite palace is very luxurious, but it is not allowed to take pictures. It can only be taken outside. When entering, a photo was taken and was stopped by the staff. Knowing the life of the royal family, Windsor Castle is generally very quiet.
