Join Aunty Social in Blackpool for a relaxed workshop where participants will have the opportunity to learn basic embroidery stitches and create snazzy trims to decorate a woolly hat. This fun beginners workshop aims to introduce attendees to the art of upcycling and hand sewing. Participants will be guided through the process of basic hand sewing and fabric crafting techniques, including braiding, pompoms, embroidery, and applique. With these newly acquired skills, participants will be able to design and create their very own unique hat. This workshop is suitable for beginners to sewing, as well as those with more experience. The session includes step-by-step tuition, all necessary equipment and materials, as well as hot/cold drinks and snacks. Free tickets are available to book starting from Wednesday, December 20th. Please note that this event is supported by Blackpool Council in an effort to assist with the rising cost of living. Accessible options, such as large print materials, BSL interpreters, and level access, are available upon request. Transportation options include taking the tram to North Pier, or buses No 3, 4, 6, or 18 to Topping St. Alternatively, the workshop can be reached by driving, with pay and display car parks located on East Topping St and Talbot Road multi-storey. Parking is also available at the nearby Sainsbury’s supermarket, please review the terms and conditions before utilizing this option.

it was very good experience to go to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, around October they have beautiful illumination that we can see from around 6 pm until 10 pm. While waiting for the lights, we could even have fun in arcades.

Very tall. Very nice. Very amazing. The view from the top is incredible. We went at the back end of summer so it was busy but was definitely not crowded at the top. There was loads of room to walk freely round. 10/10
