Join curator Chiara Dellerba for an expressive drawing and writing session at the Creative Workshop: Oneiric Journey to the Nearby Cosmos. As part of the Reimagining Sleep exhibition programme, this workshop will take place on 23rd March 2024 at Bewick Hall, Level 2, Newcastle City Library in Newcastle upon Tyne. Chiara Dellerba, the curator of the Reimagining Sleep exhibition, will lead participants in exploring the ways our bodies and minds react to sounds. Through creative writing techniques and mark-making, attendees will have the opportunity to develop visual responses to meditative soundscapes. These responses can then be uploaded to the companion online exhibition, enriching its collaborative nature and the plurality of voices represented. The Reimagining Sleep exhibition is part of the larger project led by Dr Diletta De Cristofaro, funded by Wellcome and based at Northumbria University, in partnership with The Sleep Charity. This event will provide a serene and thought-provoking environment for participants to delve into the realm of the nearby cosmos through artistic expression.
