Join Natalie Chanin from Alabama Chanin, The School of Making, and Project Threadways for a 2-hour workshop. Natalie will share the story of how she came to express her creativity through hand-stitching. The class will explore creative process, fabric composition, and the basics of hand-stitching. Natalie will teach you to create zero-waste designs with textile scraps, paper, stitching supplies, and more. Some scraps will be provided. Additional kits, project supplies, and fabrics will be available for purchase. This workshop is part of Heath's Make Good Market! Join us at the market before or after attending the workshop for a holiday craft market like no other. Open to 14 participants per session This workshop is suitable for ages 12 and older.
