In this relaxed and welcoming workshop, you will be guided through the art of painting still life flower arrangements using acrylic paint. Participants will be shown the basics of composition, style and colour communication, offering a simple starting point from which everyone can explore their own creativity. No experience is necessary; this encouraging workshop is focused on self-expression and intuitive painting, rather than copying strict techniques. There will be an emphasis on finding joy and freedom through expressive colour. This is an opportunity to let go of perfectionism and spend a few hours peacefully painting flowers. An invitation to ground down into our bodies, escape the pace of modern life and reconnect with the inner creative self. More information about the workshop: We will take a break for around 20 minutes at half time. There will be tea and coffee but please bring along any snacks and drinks you might want in that time.  There is parking right outside the venue, but this is paid parking before 6pm, so please be aware of this extra cost. All materials will be provided on the day and you will take away your painting with you.  If the minimum number of tickets is not sold for this event, we will postpone, and refund anyone who cannot make the new dates. She then moved to NYC for ten years where she worked as an illustrator, painter, and art director.  She is currently based in Glasgow. New motherhood and a return to Scotland expanded her fine art practice, and she now works primarily as a painter. Inspired by the magical wildflowers of her homeland she has developed the colourful, expressive style for which she is known.

We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.

We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.

This is simply a dream castle. When I arrived, it was the April holiday, and there were almost no people on the road. Only the ancient buildings stood in the cold air, solemn and heavy, which made people feel awe.

George Square is located in Glasgow city center and is very conveniently accessible by train or subway. On nice days, you can sunbathe and watch pigeons in the square. It is close to the famous shopping street, where you can buy souvenirs, clothes, shoes and socks. There are also many restaurants and eateries to choose from. 
George Square is a must-see attraction. In addition to admiring the architecture of the square;during different festivals, such as Christmas, the square is built into a Christmas Market, becoming a dynamic and happy atmosphere.
