Susie McCabe’s career has been so stratospheric in recent years, she’s indisputably one of the biggest acts working in Scottish comedy today. Having made multiple TV appearances including Have I Got News for You, Live At The Apollo, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order and Question Time, she’s also had a sell-out Edinburgh Fringe show and a triple-sell out run at the legendary King’s Theatre in Glasgow. Even with multiple Scottish Comedy Awards under her belt, she had to make room on her shelf for one more when in 2024 she was awarded the Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award, with the accolade presented by the Big Yin himself via video link. “I was blown sideways!” – Billy Connolly “A naturally funny storyteller and a genuine stand up. There will be 30 minutes from the host and support acts, followed by a 15 minute interval, and then Susie will be on for one hour uninterrupted. • Don’t talk or heckle during the performances. This rule is NOT optional. It is very distracting for both the performer and other audience members. Some performers (usually the host) might talk to the audience, but otherwise please let the comedians do the talking. Heckling does not ‘help the show’. Photos are fine but please no video or flash photography. • If your chair is not facing the stage when you come in, please rotate it when the show starts. • These shows are for people aged 18 and over. Acts are booked based on their ability to make people laugh, beyond that we respect freedom of expression. We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.

We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.

This is simply a dream castle. When I arrived, it was the April holiday, and there were almost no people on the road. Only the ancient buildings stood in the cold air, solemn and heavy, which made people feel awe.

George Square is located in Glasgow city center and is very conveniently accessible by train or subway. On nice days, you can sunbathe and watch pigeons in the square. It is close to the famous shopping street, where you can buy souvenirs, clothes, shoes and socks. There are also many restaurants and eateries to choose from. 
George Square is a must-see attraction. In addition to admiring the architecture of the square;during different festivals, such as Christmas, the square is built into a Christmas Market, becoming a dynamic and happy atmosphere.
