Fresh from a sold-out Edinburgh Fringe run in 2024, John is bringing his third solo show and brutally honest humour to to Dublin at The Craic Den. In this new show, he’ll be sharing tales of disastrous relationships, awkward therapy sessions, and the constant struggle to love yourself in a world that never stops judging. Luckily having a knack for turning life’s low points into big laughs allows John to dive headfirst into topics like mental health, dating disasters, and the existential dread of trying to get your act together. His comedy is personal and upbeat, sometimes dark, but always hilarious—self-help meets self-sabotage, and plenty of Irish sarcasm along the way. In Surviving Myself, John will be sharing some of his most awkward moments, including failed attempts at self-improvement, along with the occasional crisis, and what it means to be your own worst enemy. Whether it’s the weird rituals of modern dating, trying (and failing) to stick to a gym routine, or just surviving everyday life, life's painful moments become comedy gold.
