Country Folk - Album Launch Show Come join us at the Burton Road Methodist Church on Friday, January 17th, 2025, for a night of live music and celebration to mark the release of musician and songwriter Ben Atkinson's new album, Country Folk! Several years in the making, Ben's new album features songs and stories which focus on life, becoming a new father, and reflecting on love and loss in a world that seems in a constant state of flux, politically, socially and environmentally. The album is about all these things, but it's also about getting back to the basics of what really matters and the importance of music as a tool which brings us together. It looks back on the past five years, and it looks ahead. Ben will be joined on the night by guitarist Jamie Nowell, to play the new album in full, tell the stories behind the songs and offer a few surprises along the way. Signed copies of the album and other merch will be available to purchase on the night.
